Staff Finders Scunthorpe branch to reopen as local employers launch recruitment drives

Staff Finders are delighted to be reopening our Scunthorpe branch on Monday, October 12th as local employers have turned to us looking to recruit workers over the coming weeks and months.

The branch was closed during the Covid-19 lockdown and our teams have continued to support employers and job seekers remotely.

However, having successfully reopened our Hull branch in July – meeting Covid-Secure requirements over social distancing, cleaning, hygiene and hand washing – we are now delighted to be doing the same in North Lincolnshire.

Our Scunthorpe office, which is based in Laneham Street, in the centre of town close to the Job Centre and near to the bus station, and will be open Mondays to Thursdays, 9am until 4pm. Appointments are not required.

Staff Finders Director Gizela Fiutowska said: “Despite all the talk about job losses and unemployment there are a number of large employers in our region who are in need of reliable staff, particularly in the manufacturing sector, for role such as production operatives, fork-lift drivers and engineering roles.

“We have seen a number of businesses come to use in the last few weeks to let us know they are gearing up for what will be busy periods of the year for them, and many have opportunities where temporary positions could turn into full-time jobs.

“These businesses are recruiting in good numbers so we’re using next week as an open week for people to come and see us, register their details and see what opportunities may be suitable for them.”

Business recruits, trains and improves skills of jobseekers

Staff Finders specialises in helping employers find eager and enthusiastic out-of-work people, supporting them into regular work and roles with longer term prospects.

The Scunthorpe branch focuses on providing staff for industries such as manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and general production, often offering training specifically devised to meet employers’ requirements.

New starters are offered training so that they’re already prepared for many roles, including Health and Safety inductions, Manual handling training, Food safety training and Heavy lifting training.

Assessments are also carried out with employers and individuals after the end of each placement to ensure peoples’ skills can be developed to support their search for long-term work. Staff Finders also uses specialist software which allows employers to log in and see details of all agency workers supplied to them, including their training and qualifications details, ensuring they have assurance over compliance at all times.

The system also keeps a running total of labour costs, whilst also allowing the Staff Finders team to quickly identify suitable potential workers at speed with relevant experience and qualifications for job opportunities as they arise Elevator Shoes For Men.
