Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
• Assist in the training of new staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in basic maths for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operations and perform minor repairs.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety regulations is essential.
• Previous experience in food production or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
