A combined Labourer/FLT Driver role in the oil waste recycling industry involves operating forklift trucks to move materials and assisting with general site maintenance and processing to ensure safe and efficient waste management. The specific responsibilities are a blend of material handling logistics and hands-on site operations.

• Pay Rate: £14.60 per hour.
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the base rate (Time and a Half).
• Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Breaks: Includes three breaks during the 12-hour shift.
• Work Environment: The role involves scraping oil products; be prepared for a dirty environment and the strong smell of oil.
• Requirement: An interview required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Manual Handling/Labouring: Perform physical tasks including manual handling of goods, lifting, bending, pushing materials, and assisting skilled tradespeople or production staff.
• Warehouse/Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. This includes general housekeeping, clearing debris, managing waste disposal and recycling, and conducting daily equipment checks.

Candidate Requirements

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent) is BONUS and not essential
• Ability to work in physically demanding and potentially unpleasant conditions (smell/dirt).
