Applying several coats to the car, including primers, colours and protective finishes.

We are looking for both mobile and workshop-based heavy goods vehicle mechanics capable of dealing with everything from on-site trailer servicing and repairs, to managing breakdowns on vehicles and trailers.

You will be given an on-site induction, H&S training and issued with a Mobile Service Van, Mobile Phone and the usual PPE.

Workshop-based technicians will be required to understand the importance of carrying out MOT preparation correctly, inspecting vehicles or trailers to a very high standard, and ensuring the vehicle or trailer meets the DVSA standards when presented to test.

Old school values and attention to detail is a must for these roles as our client expects a very high standard.

Ideally you will be qualified to C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & repair and have two years post qualification experience.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and level of expertise.

We are currently recruiting a FLT driver for one of our clients based in Hull, in a recycling company.

The job involves driving counterbalance forklift as well as doing general labouring duties in the factory.

Working hours are between 8am-8pm, Monday to Friday (day shift) and the pay rate is £9.00/hour.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Production
• Main duty is driving the forklift truck, feeding machines/loading & unloading wagons.
• General labour-hands on sorting waste plastic in between driving trucks.
• Make sure daily & monthly production targets are achieved on time.
• Changing over, setting and starting the work process where training and skills allow.
• Recording product in feed as per work instructions.
• Checking materials against specification and decanting into material feed system.
• Carry out any reasonably requested duty as required by management.
• Making sure all equipment and machinery is in good working order, report faults immediately.
2. Record keeping
• Maintaining all the relevant production records.
• Keeping good records of all the machinery maintenance, production consumable ordering.
3. House keeping
• Maintaining housekeeping, ensuring that area is clean, tidy and hazard free.
• Allocating different products into the correct locations.
• Separating waste into different recycling sections, i.e. metal, wood etc.
4. Health & Safety
• Work to all Company and legislative health and safety guidance and policies.
• Wearing necessary PPE on site.
